Cúl Dreimne

The site of a battle fought in c.560, known from the annals as well as more legendary accounts of the conflict, which are usually focused on Colum Cille. It is commonly thought to have been at the foot of Ben Bulben (Benbulbin) in modern County Sligo, near Drumcliff.
